Description of Lean Yellow Belt Online Training
Our Lean Yellow Education Online Program is systematically organized to provide the most important and effective Lean basic concepts and tools.
Participants learn how to be part of a culture of continuous improvement to see processes in a new way, where will learn to identify opportunities and value. They will set action plans to tackle opportunities and learn how to improve the targeted processes.
Lean Yellow Belt Online Education & Certification Training
This is the basic certification level. It is intended for associates that would like to learn Lean’s key concepts and basic tools, and that will be participants in Lean Continuous Improvement projects.
Certification Process for Lean Yellow Belts
Once participants successfully complete the education program, they will receive a participation certificate and are eligible to continue the process toward the Lean Certification as Lean Yellow Belt.
To complete the Yellow Belt certification, candidates must;
- Complete All modules/units, and assignments
- Documentation required: A3 Project Report or Project Charter & Presentation (ie. A3 report)
- Project completed successfully using at least 2 PE tool
- A single associate or team can be certified
and complete a certification project in a period of 4 to 5 months (no more than a year) after successfully completing their education program. The certification project must be documented in a A3 report from its beginning to its completion. Once the project and the A3 report are completed, the report shall be submitted for evaluation. The project A3 report is a certification requirement and a key certification element. Certification candidates should demonstrate proficiency in leading a project and its team, using 2 or more tools (major) for Yellow Belts, and obtaining savings as a result of the project’s improvements. Candidates will receive mentoring & coaching for the period of 5 months from after the completion of the training, or until the certification project is completed, whichever comes first.
Note: Achieving certification means that the candidate had reached a basic competency and proficiency standard in the use and application of Lean continuous improvements concepts, tools, techniques, and skills.
Participation in the Lean Yellow Belt Education and Certification Program does not guarantee the certification of Lean belts candidate. Only the successful completion of the requirements will lead candidates to achieve the desired Lean belt certification.
Each Lean belt certification is unique, there is no such thing as standard Lean certification. Our certified belts make a difference with the results they achieve in their certification projects
